Creswell Crag

Creswell Crags is a gorge that is part of the Creswell Heritage Landscape Area.  Its’ caves are protected by metal grills to ensure preservation of its rare archaeological remains.  There is also a Museum and Education centre located at the end of the gorge.

These caves provide a fascinating story of life during the last Ice Age from 50,000 and 10,000 years ago.  As you walk through the caves you will find stone tools and remains of animals, as well as learning the history of the people that once lived there.

Clumber Park
