Download Festival returns in 2011 for it’s 9th year, at the spiritual home of rock, Donington Park.

This is year is going to be louder than ever before, with two headliners locked down in the shape of System of a Down and Linkin Park.

The headline acts for the three days are…
Friday – Def Leppard,
Saturday – System Of A Down
Sunday – Linkin Park
Korn, Alice Cooper, Alter Bridge, Danzig, The Cult, Pendulum, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine and Rob Zombieto have also been added to the Download line up for this year, with more bands from the full spectrum of rock still to be announced.
